More foreign skilled workers were asked to apply for provincial nominations by Manitoba this week.
Due to their professional experience in in-demand occupations that Manitoba's labour market requires, candidates were invited as part of a targeted recruitment campaign.
Candidates also need to fulfil the following prerequisites:
Be between the ages of 21 and 45.
Have finished their post-secondary education, if mandated by their company or profession. Instead, some pilots might consent to on-the-job training.
Have relevant work experience of at least 2 years of full-time work within the past 5 years.
Have proven language proficiency equivalent to:
Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 5 in all skill areas for candidates in TEER* 0–3 occupations; or
CLB level 4 in all skill areas for candidates in TEER 4–5 occupations: Minimum CLB 4.
