The Home Care Worker Immigration Pilot (HCWP) is now divided into two programs: Child Care and Home Support, each with two streams—Workers in Canada and Applicants not working in Canada. The Workers in Canada stream will accept applications from March 31, 2025, to March 30, 2026, or until the cap is reached. The Applicants not working in Canada stream details will be released later. Eligibility includes CLB 4 language proficiency, a secondary school diploma, and six months of relevant work experience (child care provider or early childhood educator for Child Care, home support worker or nurse aid for Home Support). Those without work experience must have a relevant six-month credential. Applicants outside Canada must show adequate settlement funds. Application fees and employer eligibility criteria apply as well.
